Shot from the top level of 30 Rock — the 70th floor, completely open air, no plexiglass between me and the city. I've shot from up here at every hour — you get so much of the skyline in a single frame. This one was all about the color. One Vanderbilt lit red on the left, the Empire State Building burning in the middle, that green needle on the right. I pushed the colors a little. Okay, a lot. Worth it.
