Shot at dawn at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway, where I use to track-ride Gran Prix motorcycles. I went out early, before the track opened, looking for something interesting and found the power substation that keeps the whole place running. Nobody photographs power substations. But in that light, against those mountains, it was impossible to ignore.
