Our Bridge

I knew this location from hiking with my dogs — a bridge I'd crossed dozens of times that looked completely ordinary on any regular day. I researched the sun's path across the environment, waited for a day with a bit of moisture in the air, then showed up two hours early to find just the right composition, and when it arrived, the light found its direct path through those trees for about four minutes. The edit came easily, and the result made me proud.

It was my first feature on social media, and it brought many friends to my page, including Paula Parris. That's how it earned its name.
