Shadow Play
Every evening for about forty minutes, the sun hits the concrete table in my backyard and the succulents cast these shadows that stop me every time. Rather than stand there making decisions, I set up a timelapse the following evening and let it run. Watching it back felt like finding an old Super 8 reel — the shadows moving slowly across the surface like something alive. I pulled the frame I wanted and leaned into that feeling in the edit. There will be more of these.
